Take a look at the first two pics - the driveway is wet, and in the second pic you can see his two wash buckets :P

Machasm, great pictures and a beautiful car! I just love the look of both the W208 and W209 CLK55s...like I described it before, a panther ready to pounce!

Wow, super clean. I was thinking about getting an 02 CLK55. You just assisted in making that a reality ;)

Thank-you very much for the compliments.
It is a 5 year old car believe it or not. I bought it in Oct 2005
Yes I had just washed it.
Didn't polish it though.
To be fair I believe it has had a re-spray due to vandalism which only became apparent after i washed it for the first time.
Mind you you have to look very closely to notice.
Mac.

You do know why they drive on the left, correct? Back in the old days, knights with their swords in their right hand to attack, so they would always pass each other right-side to right-side. I agree, it is kind of strange to see though! And if you've ever been there and driven on the left, boy, you have to really concentrate and think, especially when taking right-hand turns!

I did a trip in California a few years ago in a 35 foot RV and found myself making the same mistake once.
Did it whilst making a right turn and found myself drifting over to the left side of the road.
Needless to say I only made the mistake once!!

This coming from somebody who thinks boxes are good looking...(go see my post in the GL thread)...

Seriously though, when I first saw the W209, my immediate thought was "My God, they ruined that car!" Then I saw the CLK55, in person, and that did it. I don't like the W208 CLK320, nor the W209 CLK350, but the 430 and 500, respectively, I just love (and of course the 55s!)

I think the ground effects are what make the car look special other than the AMG goodies....

Ground effects and rims :smt023 We're on the same page...but rims can make or break the looks of a car for me...you can have all the fancy ground effects you want, but put the wrong rims on the car and fugetaboutit...

Im not the only one, thats why the G- Wagen became an icon, and the ml55 the most prolific AMG. =P
