the C55 still has the same 5.4L V8 that RENNTech has been supercharger or boring/stroking for ages!!!! The only difference with say the W210 E55/W208 CLK55 and the W203 C55/W209 CLK55 motors are the compression ratios and airbox setup!!! The pre2003 n/a 55s came with 10.5:1 compression, the post2003 n/a 55s come with 11.0:1 compression...that explains the extra boost in hp/tq!!

Oh man.. if only I could convince the wife!

I wonder how much install would cost on that. We have a local tuner that installs Renntech, Kleemann and Brabus.

Sounds like a great mod.
