Well.. The header installation is complete but I had send out my ECU to Kleemann for the final adjustment on the air/fuel ratio to resolve the backfire!!!!!! kkkkk. I am getting it during decceleration. Well.. To tell you guys the truth, it's not a simple job. I probably just go ahead for the S/C if I had another choice. It's money well spent that way.

But my goal is to make 500bhp with NA setting because I like NA engine. It makes so much better sound than S/Cs IMO. Also the response is instantaneous which S/C and turbo can't generate. I just wish my car has a manual gearbox. That would be crazy.

Anyways, I can already feel the gained hp and tq. I am heading to dyno in Jan when I come back from winter break. Will update soon.

Sounds great - keep us informed!

Has Kleemann encountered this problem before? The backfire?

Good Morning JLee81:
As I was driving to Key West last week I noticed a 03 Silver CLK 500 at a repair garage in Key Largo. No License , looks like it just went through the auto Auction . It had a windshield banner ,that said ,(Memphis Auto Sound). But What Caught my eye was the Kleeman 19"wheels & the Kleeman Exhaust. I'm looking to change out the rear muffler on my 03 CLK 5.5 AMG , but have no clue on how much louder it would be on the inside Cabin area .The repair shop would not start the car so I could listen. No Keys. Is your exhaust noise ok at hwy speeds or is there a peak at any given rpm area. By the way the Kleeman wheels looked great ,They were the TM.5 --19" Front had 235/35/r19 Rear Had 265/30zr19
. Also did you get a change to run your car on a chassis DYNO?Thanks PTE

Yes I did and I gained 16hp and 18tq at the wheel.
The sound is mean.. really mean.. it became a muscle car I wanted.
Need to get camshafts and ECU and bigger brakes.
