Its the kind of thing that looks better from far away. Of course on a black car like mine they are less noticeable.
White is tough. I think they look better than the orange ones.

Looks great get a nite shot with them on...Question will they pass CT DMV??? We have to have orange markers and blubs (not even euro style are allowed which I think are brighter and better) or they won't pass, NJ has some the most backwards ass laws as far as minor modifications to your car.

In CT we have emissions testing. We just renew the registration by mail. I've never had a DMV inspection for any of my cars. The people at emissions don't check anything at all. Just stick a tube up the pipe and get a computer readout. I think in RI they inspections....right Scott?

RI is a joke. You are supposed to get a window sticker every two years. To get the sticker they plug into your OBD2 port and check for codes, pay $43, done.

MD used to do the stick in the pipe, they would fail every 4th car in line  . It used to be $9 and you could get a second test for free, if you failed again you needed a doctors note, LOL! Since I left I think they do a treadmill test (like a dyno) with the tube up the pipe, but there were accidents, FWD, AWD, RWD issues, blah blah. Not sure what the deally is now. I do know that you pay tax ONCE on a car in MD, not like here in RI where you get to keep paying taxes over and over again each year, plus the registration fees every two years, plus the sticker every two years.

Back on topic, Looks good Stiggsie.

Did you leave the bulbs in? I did on my C55 and at night you could still see the yellow under the bril-sil paint, but in the day you couldnt tell there was a light there. 8-)

I'm pretty sure they left the bulbs in otherwise wouldn't she get a bulb out warning? I haven't looked at them at night with the lights on. I'll try to take a pic at night. I bet you can definitely see the orange at night because they are white.

That's right!!! I forgot about CT inspections it's been 20 yrs since I lived there. NJ is crazy they inspect everything from soup to nutz every two years.

Thanks for the compliments guys. I posted this on MBWorld and the majority hates them. I can see why people might not like them because they are not flush with the body. Oh well. Can't make everyone happy.

I like them much better than the stock orange.
The markers were the 1st thing I saw when I saw my 1st 300.
See?

Thanks. They have grown on me. Both Jill and I are very happy they were changed.
