Do we have any ML owners?

My new Neighbor has a 2001 ML55, and I was checking it out yesterday, very nice. I didn't realize it has the same engine as my 05 C55. the 5.4L 367 HP v8. I was also impressed it had OEM RED Brakes. I thought he had upgraded but he told me stock.

What year did they stop issuing RED brake calibers?

I had a 2002 ML55 for two years... and let me tell you it was a nice car, not the best but it was defenetly a nice one, I drove Mls since 98... But ml55 with 5.4 is one of the best Suvs i drove, what i didnt like is all the rattles inside the cabin, it wasnt that great build, i also didnt like the Suspension it was pretty hard and in turns the car didnt feel right, As for example BMW 4.6 it has suberb suspension wider tyres too! I also didnt like the brakes, they wasnt good at all. Maybe i wanted too much from that car... It also was eating 20/l around the town.... Other that that it served me good!

But now i really got what i need!!! E55 just makes a complete pakage of what i dreamed of!!! But what i really want it CLK55 with E55 engine!!!

P.s its not 367 hp its 5.4L 342 hp :)!!!

Thanks for the correction on the HP on the ML, I was curious why it didn't post as fast times, but now it makes sense, of course with the Added weight and layout of it vs the C55

I agree love the CLK55 with a E55 engine of course ;)
