View Full Version : HELP! Any good Clear Bra installers in Bay Area?

I'd love it if anyone could help me here. I wanted to get transparent film installed on the front of my E55 wagon ASAP. I'm having NO luck finding skilled installers in the SF Bay Area -- does anyone out there have any good references?

Your local MB should be able to do it! It cost about 500 bucks at my MB dealer

Thanks -- I'll give them a try! Funny they didn't already try to sell me that in addition to PermaPlate, extended warranties, etc...

Yeah, give your local MB dealership a try or find out the company they use and call them direct. I think you can play with the intial price offer. I cut mine down $50 from the original price (~$500)

I did mine at Autobahn and got the whole thing - hood, bumper, front lip, trunk area, fuel door area, door handle area, door edges....

He did a pretty decent job.

These guys are craftsmen! Just had Premier Mobile install front-end protection on two of my cars -- a 2004 VW Phaeton and a 2005 Mercedes-Benz E55 Wagon.

I am one picky SOB and these guys do fantastic work! Highly recommended; you can't go wrong with them. They took all the time necessary to ensure a superb result and the cars look great. Their price is on the high side, but do NOT try and use a bargain installer on paint protection film; you really have to know what you're doing to install this stuff properly. The last guy I used charged $400 to do my G500; the job was so poorly done I refused to pay for it and pulled it off as soon as I got the car back home. To make matters worse the bozo cut the material on the car and scratched it badly. Much better to pay more for faultless work -- trust me on this one...
