In an effort to draw some interest to the audio and video section I am posting a topic that all can post in...

I listen to just about everything, but classic rock and 80s hair bands. I am a big techno(and all the genre's in it) fan, hip hop fan, pop, rock, punk....

I also listen to a lot of international music. I am greek so I listen to that on the regular, but i also listen to some turkish, arabic, indian, spanish, italian music just because it sounds good. I can understand some of the spanish.

I also listen to insturmental, IE starwars sound track and music such as the boston pops. You may hear someone pounding some heavy bass so they can think they are cool but the best way to TEST your system, for sound quality is to listen to classical music. I am proud to say that you can hear the differnet noises that are also in music that make the ambiance of music. These noises would be like the string of a violin getting twanged or hearing the bow travel over the string<- Kinda difficult to explain but yes I listen to classical just to get the full enjoyement of my speakers and system.

I listen to a lot of different types of music like you 55fanatic. I enjoy classic rock, punk, metal, and once in awhile different forms of hip-hop.

I listen to about everything, but I guess the best bet would be to disclose the CDs in my changer right now.

1. Big & Rich (country)
2. Jane's Addiction (rock)
3. Duran Duran: Greatest Hits (80's)
4. Ludacris (hip-hop)
5. Ayumi Hamasaki (Japanese trance)
6. Koyote (Korean techno)

Yeah, I bought the Korean CD when I was in Seoul and asked the music store guy his recommendation.

The Japanese artist, Ayumi Hamasaki, I have been listening to since 1998. She has uniquely good songs, but they get even better when she lets the DJs get ahold of them. She actually puts most of the mixes on her singles.

Follow up: Ayumi Hamasaki is no longer putting out anything good.

I have my autochanger sat next to me, ready to rip the contents to MP3, so I can tell you exactly what's in there:

David Gray
Killers
Razorlight
Franz Ferdinand
Hard-fi
Lisa Stansfield (gorgeous!!)

All UK groups except Killers.

Listen to almost anything though, well, anything resembling music.

Favourite track ever?? Canon in D by Pachelbel
